On Wednesday, July 28, 2010 Congressman John Hall spoke on the House floor in opposition of an amendment to cut funding for renovations at the Castle Point VA Facility in the Hudson Valley. The amendment would have cut funding for renovating the Urgent Care Center at the VA's Castle Point Campus. The funding in the Appropriations bill will increase the Center's capacity by making it more accommodating for female veterans and improving the infection control mechanisms.
